Here at Producers XL we just completed our first of four Medicare Universities that we are hosting this year. For those of you who have not attended one of our Medicare Universities, these are a two-day event that is filled with great information about Medicare, product information, cross-selling techniques, and marketing strategies.
Our agents were eager to start the day with an introduction to the “Why” of Medicare sales. From there, our agents learned about Medicare, enrollment periods, certifications and testing, and learned what new tools and resources Producers XL has to offer. After a hard day of learning our agents were able to utilize their newly gained knowledge in a game of Medicare Jeopardy.

On the second day, our agents started the morning off learning about the various products that can be used to help their clients protect themselves and cover things that Medicare does not cover. Products like Dental/Vision, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Fixed Life, Long-Term Care, and Annuities were the focus of the morning session. In the afternoon our agent learned about how to successfully cross-sell these products within the conversation about Medicare. Our agents were also given some marketing guidance from our very own “Digital Marketing” Guru.
