Prepare Yourself for the Future
Life Insurance Awareness Month (LIAM) is upon us again for the 20th year now. Time sure flies, which makes me think to myself, am I prepared for my future years? I recently became engaged and bought a house this year. As I’m thinking about all the remodeling and purchases for our home to make it “ours” as well as planning a wedding, one thing I tend to have forgotten is securing our future financially. Two changes have just popped into my life that require immediate attention. If I procrastinate, it is just going to cost me more money as I get older. I want to ensure my future wife can continue to enjoy our home if something happens to me. I also want to ensure she maintains the same quality of living without me and leaves something for children.
It is easy for people to put the purchasing of life insurance or even planning for the future on the back burner. Still, the fact is that financial security and peace of mind will always be prevalent until the issue is resolved. Why not set it up and give yourself peace of mind by providing protection for your loved ones in the future? Time doesn’t stop; it keeps moving forward with or without you. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people out there who do not have enough coverage for themselves, let alone business owners who do not have the coverage in place for them or their key employees to keep their company moving forward if there is a loss. Different needs can pop up during a person’s lifetime that can be addressed with Life Insurance, and different products for various needs are available.
I’m excited to share with you a valuable resource from Nationwide-their Life Insurance Resource Guide. This comprehensive guide provides answers to various questions you or your clients might have about life insurance solutions. I encourage you to take the time to review it and make use of the hyperlinks provided. It’s an excellent tool to enhance your understanding of life insurance.
I hope people become more aware of the need for Life Insurance this month and all others since it is always there. Budgeting for Life Insurance isn’t an easy discussion, but when you put the risk of losing the legacy that you have worked so hard for against the value of what it takes to keep it, the math only works out one way in my mind.
